Fees;
$35 per hour, however rates vary based on scope of project. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.
The Process
We'll start with a meeting to discuss your particular needs...you can show me your space, we'll cover lifestyle, look at your 'dream' photos, talk budget, create a timeline & consider any special issues that need to be addressed within the design (ie; storage or kid friendly fabrics). We'll explore your likes, dislikes, & add things that best reflect your personal style & attitude!
Transforming your space can be deeply personal, know that I will be there to help guide you through the maze of choices & selections. Once I have a grasp of your unique needs & desires, I can devise a plan to best obtain the result. We will meet again to go over the plan & sign the contract of terms, so that expectations are clear for us both. Fulfilling your dream space that best reflects you & is a comfortable & exciting place is my goal. No job is too small or too big. Whether simply relocating furniture to better fit a space, purge the unnecessary or outdated, tweak a room with new art, repurpose old or sentimental items or mesh existing pieces with new...it's all do-able. If you're undertaking a total renovation or new build, considerations go way beyond color preferences & aesthetics. It becomes about need vs. want, budget & priority. How a space will be utilized & by whom (the 'audience') are all important aspects to discuss. Blending form & functionality with a dusting of pizzazz, the new space will emit your personal style...you will love the transformation!
The process is so exciting...but also expensive! Varying price ranges & quality are out there, & I'll find you the best quality for your budget. I'll also work with vendors on your behalf, often bargaining with them for best pricing, also obtaining bids & collaborate/oversee projects for you. This will remove as much of the stress off your shoulders as possible. I have partnered with fabulous companies for their design discounts; Pottery Barn, West Elm, Rejuvenation, Williams Sonoma Home, Ballard Designs, Lowe's & many others. The benefit of this are discounted items & expedited shipping! Make no mistake, shopping is not all online, & often the best deals are at the outlets & estate sales...amazing what I can find! I can do some of the labor myself, or with you if you'd like. I do leave certain installations to the experts. I have many vendors & trades people in my repertoire, screening all to insure we're only working with quality contractors & tradesmen. Whether you need me to seek, solicit & schedule bids or accompany you to a vendor site to give my feedback on a selection, have confidence knowing I'm here for you!
